AHEPA Brooklyn Chapter 41 Hosts “Spring Awakening,” Announces $25,000 Pledge to Saint Michael’s Home
AHEPA Brooklyn Chapter 41 hosted its 2026 Spring Awakening at Skinos NYC on Friday, April 24, bringing together brothers, community leaders, and distinguished guests to mark the start of Greek Independence Day Parade weekend. Chapter President George P. Georgaklis announced a $25,000 pledge toward the new Saint Michael’s Home — the first AHEPA chapter to receive such recognition. A highlight of the evening was the second consecutive appearance of the Presidential Guard of Greece (Evzones).

AHEPA 41 Celebrates 100 Years at St. Nicholas National Shrine
Brooklyn’s AHEPA Chapter 41 marked its centennial with a memorial service at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine at the World Trade Center, where members honored deceased brothers. Supreme President Savas Tsivicos addressed attendees and recognized Past Presidents and anniversary co-chairs John Liodakis, Konstantinos Mallas, and Peter Vasilakos. The celebration continued with dinner and live music at Skinos restaurant.
